Description Dick Gevers 2014-07-31 17:30:28 CEST
Description of problem:

Using 5 alpha 2 dual DVD:

As soon as graphical boot screen appears (using real hardware as in https://wiki.mageia.org/en/QA_iso_hardware_list --> notebooks --> dvgevers)
i have 3 problems:

1/ does not show the F keys ( I see only: .. Help ... Language ... 800x600 CD-ROM ... Driver ... Kernel Option, in between the function key names are missing)

2/ In the first graphical screen the boot options are displayed and the default (Install Mageia 5) is correctly highlighted, but as soon as the cursor is moved the highlighting stays and the other options are *also* highlighted. This should not happen.

3/ Screen background is black not blue.

Potentially these are all different bugs (sorry if so), but I suspect it has stg to do with the graphical driver chosen for -- ? unrecognized ? -- hardware.

Same applies to alpha 2 classical DVD 32 bits (64 bits is not bootable).

Source RPM: Mageia-5-alpha2-dual-DVD built Wed Jul 30 16:13:04 CEST 2014 => Mageia-5-alpha2-dual-DVD and i586 class. DVD first build Jul 30 / Aug 1

                                                 ~
Fixed in 2nd build (64 bit, but I guesstimate 32 = 64 bit install.
