Description of problem: The Beta 2 Gnome live CD runs fine on one of my PCs, but not the other. It gets to the splash screen then hangs. It is not a total lock up, NumLock and CapsLock still change the LEDs, but Ctl-Alt-Fn does not work. If <escape> is pressed early, it will typically get to "Mounting other filesystems: [OK]" before hanging, but the exact point is variable.
