The same phone was working on the same box with 1-beta2 installation.

Where did you get a dual ISO of RC1? I can't see any on the mirrors...

What's the output of:
rpm -qa '*gvfs*' | sort
Comment 4 Palm Pre 2011-05-21 18:55:51 CEST
ftp://ftp.uni-erlangen.de/mirrors/Mageia/iso/cauldron/

There is no output of above command.
Comment 5 Ahmad Samir 2011-05-21 19:17:18 CEST
Ah, yes, the dual ISO doesn't have a .idx file, so I overlooked it... sorry about that.

Try installing gvfs.
Comment 6 Palm Pre 2011-05-22 13:05:59 CEST
That was it.

It works after gvfs installation.
Comment 7 Ahmad Samir 2011-05-22 18:31:26 CEST
Dual iso is always short on space, so I am not sure gvfs and it dependencies can be included...

And according to pcmanfm upstream, gvfs should only be a suggests not a hard requires, as it can work without it.

Closing as WONTFIX (we really should also have a CANTFIX resolution...).
