During install from the KDE Live DVD x86_64. (not running live system) In diskdrake during custom partitioning, when mousing over the current partitions, the information contained on the graphic for each partition is replicated (darkened) in the top left corner of the screen. I did not notice this during install from a running live system.

Is that not a poorly positioned pop-up? I see something similar if I mouse over the warning icon about the password strength in the add a user section. The warning message appears at the top left of the screen. (At least it is now white on black. In the preceding version of stage2 it was dark grey on black.)
popups are placed by gtk+
Created attachment 5255 [details] screenshot This is from round 3 of live isos which has: - oxygen-gtk3 updated to 1.4.0 - perl-gtk2/3 updated
Not seen it myself in many tests of 5alpha1, 5alpha2, 5beta1. @anyone: please check if present in 5beta1 or later and change whiteboard accordingly please. And remove the keyword 'NEEDINFO'. @zen25000@zen.co.uk: in case it is no longer seen, please close as RESOLVED -> OLD. Thanks! And, obviously, thanks for the report.
I have not seen it recently so closing as old.
