Description of problem: As per subject: I do not wish to have any FAT partition on this machine, so I cannot complete the install. IMHO it is a little ridiculous that I cannot create only partitions using ext4 or swap exclusively. Reproducible: Steps to Reproduce:
I confirm, and it's not just the live media, but a network install as well. Some thoughts from Col when I asked about this on the dev ML: 'Twas brillig, and Frank Griffin at 01/07/14 11:40 did gyre and gimble: > As long as you've confirmed that this isn't just PEBKAC, I'll file a bug > report with the needed stuff, thanks ! I certainly don't think it's PEBKAC - certainly what you described seems pretty straight forward. I'm guessing it's some kind of Grub or similar related error, as I've not updated systemd (the other obvious culprit) or gummiboot (not yet integrated in our tools), so the finger of blame is pointing either to our tools or grub (thinking about it, it's probably more likely our tools as grub shouldn't be involved this early on...) It's a fallout of cleaning up unsupported arches: http://gitweb.mageia.org/software/drakx/commit/?id=6d3faeb9846f336be402f1acab8ffabf3233560f where the enforced /boot/efi check was restricted by ia64 arch, so now it triggers for all Namely the change to partitioning_wizard.pm I will revert that bit for now, so it's usable again...
