It seems that for a few days already the earlier versions than 4.3 for linux are no longer usable. Users can no more connect to the server.

"The error messages user will see during sign in may include âCanât Connect to Skypeâ or âCanât login on Skypeâ. To continue using Skype, please update to the latest version."

So I think it is urgent to push an update for mga4 and mga3 too, no?

I will check if the version requirement is really affecting all users and if yes then will update skype in a few days.

Currently 4.2.0.11 is working fine for me.

Working fine since over a month on Mageia 4 x86_64:

For me it work fine too on Mageia 4 for x86_64 since 22 June with a package that I built on my local machine.

MGA4: Skype 4.2.0.11 (Nonfree repository, get-skype-4.2.0.11-5.mga4) - does not work - login issue
      Skype 4.3.0.37 (available in MLO and MRC repositories, get-skype-4.3.0.37-1.mga4) - works well! Validated.

For mga4 you can use the rpm from cauldron. For mga3 update is on its way to repos, next up mga4..
