Still a problem
Thomas, I made some work to port this tool to adminpanel even if not completed yet -such as parallel functionality for instance is missing- Could you please test dragora-urpm-sources.pl and tell me if it has the problem too?
that functionality is included into mpan and rpmdragora also as it was into mcc and rpmdrake

I would be glad to test it. What would be the procedure of testing it?
install adminpanel (qt or gtk) and run the mpan (either from menu) you should find the "configure media sources for install and update" or run from console as root "dragora-urpm-sources.pl"

It hasn't happened to me for a while so I am going to closed it as old. If I see this again, I can re-open it.

I am going to re-open this bug as it happened to me twice today, once on a brand new install of mga5 What I then found is file /etc/urpmi/urpmi.cfg is practically empty. it has left { }

Closing as OLD again. No one but Oro_Valley, the reporter, has managed to reproduce this and he last confirmed this issue over two years ago. We should have asked him if it always happened to him on the same hardware (he had already told us that it happened in different Mageia installs).
