Created attachment 5212 [details] webrtc on firefox 24.6.0 firefox 24.6.0 is built without WebRTC support when I type in firefox: https://apprtc.appspot.com/?r=22532816 I obtain this page in attachment
This was done on purpose initially, as it couldn't be built against the system ogg libraries with WebRTC support enabled. The patches for system ogg support came from iceape, in which this issue has apparently since been fixed. Christiaan, will your updated patches for iceape work on FF24?

Please test firefox-31.1.0-6.mga5 on cauldron, if it's working fine it can be pushed also for mga4/3 if there are no further problems.
Some short results and some more demo sites: https://apprtc.appspot.com will ask for permission to use microphone, and then will wait for other participants to join the party. Firefox slows down quite hard, but that may be as it's running inside a vurtualbox vm and due to the sound forwarding. At least webRTC support is present. http://mozilla.github.io/webrtc-landing/ - doesn't show the warnings for missing webRTC support: "mozGetUserMedia is missing! Do you have the latest Nightly and set media.navigator.enabled to true? Ã mozRTCPeerConnection is missing! Do you have the latest Nightly and set media.peerconnection.enabled to true?" - single host chat works, after allowing access to microphone/webcam from virtualbox host, video appears, even when it's really slow (probably due to virtualbox). some more demo sites: http://www.webrtc.org/demo https://github.com/GoogleChrome/webrtc
Latest Firefox offers webRTC support and was pushed also for Mageia 3 and 4, closing. See http://advisories.mageia.org/MGASA-2014-0421.html
