I noticed that both BIOS version are different. Computer with most recent BIOS has sound and not the second. I don't work in computer manufacturer but I am sure they always respond in first update your BIOS. But I read description of BIOS version A016 and it seems to not add fix about your problem. +1 Martin proposition

second machine w/o sound with the A13 bios :/ and 2 with A16 with the sound. seems the bios is the pb. i will need https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=15367 to be fixed to confirm this. i tested #10 but does not help.
