Description papoteur 2014-06-01 10:34:38 CEST
Description of problem:

I have a new device with a USB dongle and wireless headphones. The device has also a microphone and buttons to control the volume and the tracks.
I see it in pavucontrol, in kmix and in phonon. But no sound is outputted on it, except by VLC, which has a option to choose the output.

lspcidrake -v | grep -i audio
snd_hda_intel : NVIDIA Corporation|MCP61 High Definition Audio [MULTIMEDIA_AUDIO_DEV] (vendor:10de device:03f0 subv:1458 subd:a002) (rev: a2)
snd_usb_audio : 2.4G Wireless headset|2.4G Wireless headset [Audio|Control Device] (vendor:03eb device:9600)

This problem is yet solved by usage of kmix command.
I discover that when a sound is played, I have a cursor in kmix for this entry. Whith a right clic, and a command "Déplacer" (Move or displace), I can select the output I want.
