Description of problem: I have submitted a DKMS package (dkms-ipt_NETFLOW) to Mageia 4. Normaly (if I'm not mistaken)a DKMS on official depository is automatically built each time that a new kernel version coming out ?! About my package, it's not automatically rebuilt, do you know what ? It's a bit annoying because to build this package, users have to have a devel-* envoronment locally. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): ipt_NETFLOW-1.8-4.mga4.src.rpm dkms-ipt_NETFLOW-1.8-4.mga4.noarch.rpm How reproducible: Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Reproducible: Steps to Reproduce:
Are you speaking the build node or users box ? If yes please use correct component
As I told you on irc, you need to create a matching kmod-* package that creates the prebuilt modules, so it can be pushed along with a new kernel update, look at any of the other kmod-* packages does it. The buildsystem currently does not trigger automatic builds, I always manage it myself for now ...

Sorry, bugs@ml and pkg-bugs@ml members, for the avalanche. 72 bugs with the "New RPM package request" component, had a severity of "normal" or more, which can lead to losing precious time when searching Bugzilla for bugs that urgently need to get fixed Now mass-changing that to "enhancement", as it should be for package requests. https://wiki.mageia.org/en/How_to_report_a_bug_properly#How_to_file_a_package_request @ the reporter of this package request Please check in http://madb.mageia.org/ whether this software did already get packaged, and close this bug report if it did. Please do also close it if you find a package with the same purpose, that meets your needs.
