Description Georges Eckenschwiller 2014-05-03 17:44:13 CEST
Description of problem:

I test install cauldron with boot-nonfree.iso CD.
boot-nonfree.iso from 1 may
source = local miror updated this morning.

The beginning of the installation takes place normally until the selection of the media. There I have an error:
 problem readingsynthesis file of media "Core Release"
 error generating names file: dependency 0 not found

Ctrl F3 tells me:
 wrote config file [mnt//etc/urpmi/urpmi.cfg]
 choosen media: Core Release ... Tainted Updates
 examining synthesis file [/mnt/var/lib/urpmi/synthesis.hdlist.Core Release.cz]
 urpmi: error generating ...

I make Ctrl F2
 cd /mnt/var/lib/urpmi  --> OK
 ls --> the synthesis.hdlist.Core Release.cz is present
 cat synthesis.hdlist.Core Release.cz --> error, no such file
 cat 'synthesis.hdlist.Core Release.cz' --> OK
