Description of problem: If I choose Cantarell regular or Cantarell bold font instead of it font automatically switching to DejaVu Sans Book. With Cantarell italic all is fine. MATE 1.6.2 abattis-cantarell-fonts package version number: 0.0.15 How reproducible: 1. Try to change font in Appearance dialog on Fonts tab to Cantarell regular. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install abattis-cantarell-fonts package. 2. Execute mate-appearance-properties command. 3. Go to Fonts tab. 4. Try to change font to Cantarell regular. Reproducible: Steps to Reproduce:

Seems something wrong with your setup. Anyway, did you tried it with a new user? Do you see any errors when you start mate-appearence-properties from command-line when you changed font setting?
