I just wanted to add: everything worked fine in Mageia 3
Priority: Normal => High
nouveau driver does not work at all with this card. X won't start.
I downloaded and installed the driver (same version as Mageia has) from Nvidia homepage a few days ago and it seems to work. No black screens anymore. So i guess it is a Mageia issue ...
Well, sometimes it still happens also with the original Nvidia driver ... Is anybody trying to repair this or should i return to Mageia 3? Thanks!
