mageiawelcome package does not display the correct desktop on a full install KDE4. It says me : Desktop : Other I have use the full DVD_4GB (Mageia-4-x86_64-DVD.iso) with environment KDE4. Reproducible: Steps to Reproduce:

This occurs only with KDE installed from classical installer, KDE installed from live sets $DESKTOP_SESSION correctly. I'm downloading classical DVD with Mageia 5 RC now to see how to fix this. Ben can you show me output from command on Xfce please: $ cat /etc/sysconfig/desktop
Source RPM: mageiawelcome-0.8.8-1.mga4 => mageiawelcome-0.8.14-1.mga5
KDE installed from classical installer sets: XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP=KDE Xfce sets: XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP=XFCE Hopefully I will be able to fix this soon.
This is fixed with mageiawelcome ver. 0.8.15 I'va asked for freeze push on dev mailing list.

not sure if to re-open this bug. Mga5-64 upgraded to Cauldron 64. Desktops Mate, Cinnamon, LXDE, XFCE. Desktops Mate & Cinnamon display as "unknown" LXDE & XFCE display correctly.
