According to the official website and the blog, the dev just decided to stop developing Laborejo and do a complete rewrite of the code to create Laborejo 2. He stopped providing the "old" version, so the only way to package it would be to use the sources provided in the Debian package. So for now, I'll just wait.
Development of laborejo 2 is still ongoing it seems, but there is no public repository on the developer's github, so for now I'll just unassign myself.
