Description Ricardo Naranjo 2014-02-27 01:42:52 CET
Description of problem:
I upgrade my box from Mageia 3 to 4, network interface name's changed from eth0 to enp2s0 (the one connected to internet) and enp7s5 (the one connected to LAN)

After setting up network cards, I can navigate to Internet normally, and from command line I can ping to other boxes on my LAN, from any machine on my lan (192.168.1.x) I can connect to mageia box (ping, http, ssh) then my network is working fine.

When I run drakgw from MCC it detects the 2 interfaces and ask me to choose wich one is connected to Internet, I select enp2s0.

After that, drakgw tells me that can't find any interface connected to LAN and finish the wizzard.

It happens to me before on Mageia 3, and I can juryrig that by editing shorewall files and reruning drakgw. Now in Mageia 4 that solution is useless.
