you need to install libkutils package to fix the kde configuration tool. The solution should be to add this package as a require on a splitted kde configuration tool package but it is probably difficult since the package is « build » on the user's box and we should not pull all kde just for a flash player plugin . Another solution is to simply remove the kde configuration tool.

Splitting is unfeasible (from both packaging and user perspectives), so the viable options are: 1. Have e.g. kdebase4-workspace require lib64kutils4 (it is only 10kB installed) to avoid this issue. 2. Don't provide KDE configuration tool at all (or disable it selectively when libkutils4 not installed at the time of download). I think I slightly prefer the solution 1, what is your opinion?

(In reply to comment #0) > now the only "problem" is that which occurs in the kde settings panel A. Flash > Player is located in the Lost and Found That's an upstream bug, their .desktop file in /usr/share/kde4/services/ has a wrong/non-existent category, hence why it shows in "Lost and Found" in systemsettings.
(In reply to comment #2) I'm more in favor of 2 personnaly.
1 seems a good solution since the package is so small. And its great that they made a kc module so to not enable it seems a waste. It also presents some nice options to the user in a nice discoverable and friendly way.

As this has been split to a -kde subpackage for flash-player-plugin11, which likely will be offered as an update for Mageia 1, can this be closed then?

This bug is against 10.3, but it has indeed been fixed there as well, and it has also been provided as an update for mga1. I just forgot to close this bug, sorry. The KCM tool was splitted to -kde subpackage.
