Description Lieven De Puysseleir 2014-02-06 10:54:08 CET
Description of problem:

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
ApacheDirectoryStudio-linux-x86_64-2.0.0.v20130628
& also on
apacheDS_1.5.3

both 64 bit

How reproducible:
download from:
http://directory.apache.org/studio/download/download-linux.html

always crash at startup

Steps to Reproduce:
1. download binary
2. extract binary
3. execute the ./ApacheDirectoryStudio binary
The splash screen loading the apacheds shows up fine
4. crash

excpected result:
an eclipse based workbase with ldap client to edit + view ldapserver like slpad.

This is a regression from mageia 3 where this worked without any visible issue.

Maybe some java issue??

errorlog: /tmp/jvm-20485/hs_error.log

error log output from jvm
Comment 2 Lieven De Puysseleir 2014-02-06 11:26:44 CET
installed another canberra pkg:
[root@nuclear ~]# urpmi lib64canberra-gtk0

this actually removed tha warning but did not resolve the issues with java
Comment 3 Johnny A. Solbu 2015-03-22 21:45:11 CET
First: This is not a package request, but a bug repport.
Second: THis is a bug repport against a package that Mageia doesn't ship.

Closing as invalid.
