Description of problem: Trying to move cells in a spreadsheet causes the screen to lock up... /var/log/messages contains only: Feb 2 20:46:59 hg systemd[1]: Started Load/Save Screen Backlight Brightness of acpi_video0. Feb 2 21:00:41 hg systemd-logind[1194]: Lid closed. Feb 2 21:00:46 hg systemd-logind[1194]: Lid opened. So there are no log events to help... Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): no idea if this is oocalc, kde, X, ?? issue... How reproducible: every time I tried. To restore screen, close lid, wait for sleep, then open lid. Steps to Reproduce: 1. start oocalc 2. enter some data in a few cells 3. highlight the cells and try to move them => screen locks up. mouse still moves. Reproducible: Steps to Reproduce:
Switching to Ctl+Alt+F2 and back with Ctl+Alt+F1 also restores screen.

Still a problem so still using OpenOffice as workaround. Another way to restore system is to close laptop lid, wait, re-open.
The problem is fixed in libreoffice 4.2.0.4 currently proposed in Backport Testing. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 11996 ***
