Description of problem: if use lxinput, then no one option works, you can change mouse button left<->rigth only.

1. run lxinput
2. change options
3. no effect
4. change options
5. restart
6. no effect

why is dead upstream ? if no you should report them your patch

lxinput is not python, but mdvinput is python and my patch is for mdvinput only.
I can not fix lxinput, but fixed mdvinput.

The problem is present for lxinput-0.3.4-1.mga5.
Settings were not saved after log out and log in, but all options worked without log out.

On my up-to-date cauldron VM, settings are saved in $HOME/.config/lxsession/LXDE/desktop.conf, in mouse section and, for example, "LeftHanded" configuration survives a reboot.

I configured keyboard and saved on my mind how it works, but after log out keyboard works by default.

For me there is no more problem so I close the bug.
