Description of problem: If I open a project file that contains fitted curves, I receive an error message about some "undefined token" and the fits get deleted. I have already filed a report to scidavis about it https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=968214&aid=3298663&group_id=199120 There I got a suggestion that it is caused by muparser version 1.34. I can confirm it: removed the libmuparser packages, then with the older 1.32 versions from mandriva 2010.1 I rebuilt the mageia scidavis source rpm and the problem disappeared. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): scidavis-0.2.4-3.mga1 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. plot some data 2. do a fit (any kind) 3. save and close, then reopen
Thks you for reporting it upstream (it would have be nice for if upstream could provide a patch for this :) ). Since only scidavis & qtiplot are linked to muparser, muparser is downgraded to 1.32. If you have another computer where the 1.34 is installed you'll have to downgrade manually muparser & reinstall after because since it's just a cauldron specific problem and mandriva 2010.1 is providing 1.32 there's no reason to add an epoch for this. Scidavis & qtiplot will be rebuild against the « new » muparser library. Regards,
