Description of problem: When gnome-weather is installed, there is no way to find or launch it from within Gnome Shell. Still valid in 3.14. I figured the way to launch Gnome Weather is via de Shell search provider, but that doesn't seem to work either!
I just tried this in Cauldron and seems to work now. Do you have it installed?

For me this search was turned off in the settings (settings->search->weather). After enabling it that worked. Can you check if that's the same for you?
