libreoffice 3.3.2.2-12.mga1 is unusable for me. segfaults after a few seconds or minutes. I have seen bug 538 https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=538, but I'm not sure it is related. Did you try to run it with gdb and get some debug traces ? (Yesterday I was using it and it works perfectly)

Created attachment 386 [details] libreoffice under gdb
The crash seems pretty random. Other applications I use (KDE desktop, konsole, Firefox, Thunderbird, Unison...) work fine.
can you attach a file making it crashy ?
i will update to LO 3.3.3 to see if this better
Solved with latest update libreoffice-3.4.2.1-2.mga2

Serge : do you reproduce the "fast scrolling" crash too ?

Yes it seems to occur on some files, poorly reproducible
