Created attachment 4717 [details] Failure Text Download failing on get_iplayer Version 2.85 1.maga3 noarch running on maga3 64bit fails as follows -
Your output shows that you are still running get_iplayer 2.80, not 2.85. Use "get_iplayer -V" to check version. Version 2.80 is obsolete and broken, as you can see. Perhaps you have an old version of get_iplayer installed ahead of v2.85 in $PATH?

Your output also shows a couple of other issues: 1. You have a partial download of that programme, presumably from earlier attempts, thus all the "corrupt file" messages. Delete the partial download between retries. 2. For get_iplayer to work properly, you should (re-)install mplayer, ffmpeg, rtmpdump, and librtmp0 from the tainted media set. The limited version of rtmpdump is the source of the "does not support SWF Verification" messages

Hmmm. The output you attached in initial report clearly shows v2.80 in the version string. No idea what that means. That's not really diagnostic, though. Because of the issues I noted in #2, no version of get_iplayer would give you different output.
Hi, thanks for reporting this bug. As there is no maintainer for this package I added the committers in CC. (Please set the status to 'assigned' if you are working on it)

Hi Phil Jones, can you implement Dinky Pumpkinâs suggestions? Regards, -- Shlomi Fish
Yup, just tested it again here, still working fine for me, so please try again with the latest version and give the output again!
Sorry for the time to respond but having just upgraded to Mageia 4 everything now works o/k
