Tested among almost all our kernels, tmb-laptop, tmb-desktop, all the 3.12.* versions crash in the same way. Cheers, chris.

1) That's not a crash. 2) It happens from times to times with other USB modules too, with some USB devices. Eg: it happened from times to times with my GPS, ...

These peculiar warnings in the logs are no longer present in my case; but with latest Cauldron kernels, I am still affected by this one https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=14211 with a pletory of "old" USB drives (the only thing they share is having an IDE disk inside).
