This file only exists _after_ partitions are mounted for installation. The content is availlable in /tmp/ddebug.log

Thank you thierry. I added that info to https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Triage_guide I want to add add what filsystems are supported at that time to that page. Do you know what filesystems are supported there? My NTFS stick did not work (formatted using Gparted) - at least for manual mount and copy; system responded "Read-only filesystem" when i tried to copy ddebug.log even when mounted mount -w ext4 and fat32 worked
