Is  it possible to build spyder for python3 as python is now mandatory in education : CPGE - France so that student can use mageia

Upstream Spyder is not ready for being built with Python 3 :

it is planned for version 2.3 

but you can use Spyder 2.2.4 that we provide to write Python 3 code
I did it a lot.

Seems that Spyder 2.3 is coming, they released an RC :

Spyder 2.3.0 is in mga5 with spyder for Python2.7 and spyder3 for Python3.4
