Description Kristoffer Grundström 2013-12-16 01:58:33 CET
Description of problem: I know that I've installed libudev-devel and libudev1 and I have also updated the database, but as I try to install the generated spotify-client-0.9.4.183.g644e24e.428-2.x86_64.rpm it fails due to missing libudev.so.0 and the Mageia-version is more recent than that . I use 3.8.13.4-desktop-1.mga3 as kernel. I don't use any Testing or Backports-medias and I'm fully updated as well. I use Gnome Classic as only DE. The library for Spotify is installed and found.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 0.9.4

How reproducible: Everytime.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Download the deb-packages and libspotify from the attached links.
2. Extract the tarball for libspotify.
3. Login as root (su -).
4. Install libudev-devel and libudev1 using urpmi libudev-devel libudev1.
5. Enter the libspotify-dir.
6. Install libspotify by typing make prefix=/usr/local/lib install.
7. Now type updatedb in order to updated the database.
8. Enter the directory where you saved the deb-packages of Spotify.
9. If alien is installed, type alien -r followed by the name of each spotify-package and include --scripts in the end of that command.
10. As the rpm-packages are created, go to the dir and double-click on the spotify-client package fails to install due to missing libudev.so.0 (64-bit)
