Description of problem:
Doing a reinstall (because root password got forgotten by system for some reason) the choice was made to update my existing installation. An error quickly came up saying "Oops! No root partition"

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):


How reproducible:
Installation DVD/usb

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Go through start of installaion disk
2.Choose update option on installer on existing Mageia system
3.Error message comes up with ok button that does nothing but repeat the message

Thanks for the bug report.
Could you provide the file /root/drakx/report.bug.xz as an attachment ?
If you don't have the file, you can switch to console 2 (by pressing 'Ctrl-Alt-F2') during installation, put a floppy in floppy drive or plug a USB key/stick and type: 'bug' then press Enter. It will put report.bug on the floppy/key.

Request for info not replied for nearly a year.

Since last years installer cannot be fixed as we have currently M5 installer please reopen if the same occurs under M5 or later. Thanks.
