Some of us who have had problems with HP printer detection have found we had to install task-printing-scanning manually, does that work for you?

In the final release 4 it still wont detect it. It stll dosn't work.
The funny thing is I had it working with the Beta 2.

I thought it would get better with each cauldron release not worse.
I still have Mageia 3 on this machine I can alway use that to print until it's fixed.

Don't know. it was working with the final release. The printer died and had to replace it. The current one is a hit or miss with each set of update. At present it's working.
