While debuging bug #11969, I was surprised to see polish or russian translations whereas I'd removed locales-pl & locales-ru a long time ago (if not years at least largely prior to the mass rebuild). However translations were still installed after the mass rebuild upgrade. It turns out that locale_uninstall.sh only uninstalls "ll_CC" variants but not "ll" eg, installing locales-ru adds "ru:ru_RU:ru_UA" to /etc/rpm/macros But uninstalling it only removes "ru_RU:ru_UA", not "ru" Reproducible: Steps to Reproduce:

Is this bug still valid Thierry?

Still valid, just tested by removing locales-es in cauldron. all "es_??" are removed from /etc/rpm/macros, but "es" is still there

humm... It looks like we don't add anymore just "ll" to %_install_lang macro...
