Description Barry Jackson 2013-12-08 00:59:52 CET
Description of problem:
Rather than first clearing the info pane when a new category is selected, rpmdrake attempts to display the info for every package as it is loaded, which is disconcerting and looks bad, as well as probably slowing the process.

Not sure if this is a new effect or whether it has been around a while - I never saw it before.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open rpmdrake
2. Click Accessibility
3. Click on accerciser to display the info pane
4. Now click Office in the left pane (not the expansion arrow)
5. The info pane goes berzerk :\

Reproducible:

Probably a "Feature", automatic scroll of contents. :)
Clicking the > will stop the Feature.

Hope the Control+q will be fixed when someone removes the Feature.

There is also video on youtube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VI1t7J-aw0o), showing the same thing happening after removing a package.

That's a different issue. Don't mix them.
Rpmdrake window isn't refreshed when computing eg: updates and it has been like this for a decade
