Description Dick Gevers 2013-12-05 21:30:32 CET
Beta 2 prerelease isos rounds 1 and 2:

Use boot function "Rescue system" and choose "Mount your partitions under /mnt".

When one subsequently goes to the console, it proves that none of the existing partitions has been actually mounted.

please run rescue-gui manually then and see if there's any error message

Been there, done that. There is no error message. But if the function "Mount your partitions under /mnt" had been working those partitions should be accessible when going to console, However they are not. Hence the bug report.

Comment 3 Thierry Vignaud 2013-12-05 22:48:02 CET
Colin, can it be a side effect of the reworked stage1?
Comment 4 Dick Gevers 2013-12-28 19:48:57 CET
It is improved in today's classical 64-bit iso (1st round, 4RC): partitions listed in /etc/fstab without "noauto" are mounted, those with "noauto" are not mounted.

Not recognized in 5beta1
