Description of problem:
A horrible default KDE setting in default installations.

Sytemsettings->Configure desktop effects->All effects tab->Appearance heading->Highlight Window

is checked.

On mouseover of running applications on the taskbar, this causes both the thumbnail AND a transparent full screen view of the application to pop up.

It is very distracting.

I am sure that most users would appreciate this to NOT be set on as default.
It took me weeks to figure out the cause of this annoyance.
