Description of problem: The installation is very slow, with very long pauses : some messages on tty3 : * libgcc1 not installed * workaround bug in rpmlib by removing /mnt/var/lib/rpm/rpmdb* * opening rpmdb (root=/mnt, write=1) * urpmi error : unable to installpackage /tmp/image/media/core/ /lib64qtxml4-4.7.2-2mga1.x86_64.rpm How reproducible: install beta2 x86_64 dvd (installation with beta1 is ok) on a system with M4A785TD-V EVO Motherboard AMD Athlon II X3 440 Processor
Did you check the md5sum of the ISO? Could you try with another DVD optical drive? or if you have a big enough usb key, dump the iso on the key and install from it (to rule out the case of optical-drive-gone-bad).

I burned a new DVD with checking, and k3b reported errors, so that's it. I did a dd on a key, but did not manage to install from it. The dual CD works, so I will use that. Thanks
