1] After chosing some (?) minority language - in my case Cymraeg - the keyboard selection stage is skipped, one goes straight to disc partitioning. 2] There is a new (?) k/b selection dialogue for M4 with a pre-chosen radio-button shortlist of likely layouts guessed from the language choice, *the* most likely pre-selected. If you want a different layout and go to the 'more' screen to select it, when you return from there back to the original screen your now-hidden choice is not shown, still the pre-chosen shortlist and pre-selected layout. So what layout do you have? Abandon the installation seems safest. Easy to test: Start the Installer, choose e.g. Europe/British English language. At the k/b stage UK layout is pre-selected, choose 'more', French, OK. The parent screen remains unchanged. Similar if you select Europe/French language, then 'more' UK layout, the pre-chosen French-related list remains as was. This will stop some installations. Reproducible: Steps to Reproduce:

I have just discovered that this is similar to Bug 926; but not identical, I think. That goes back to Mag 1, and does not mention the specifics of *this* bug.
