+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #11566 +++

Without new gst-python (brought back from the dead), there is no override for Gst.Fraction, which is a fundamental type, and so needs an override from gst-python for Gst.Fraction __init__ to take the num and denom. This is required by pitivi/utils/ui.py since August 2012. Without it, it simply errors out on startup and shows no GUI or functionality.

Does anyone try to launch what they kindly package? :)

It is a bug in packaging. gst-python-1 is required for Gst.Fraction used in pitivi to work. Please package it and make pitivi depend on it.

Should be OK now. Created gstreamer1.0-python and updated pitivi requires.
