Description of problem:
Following installation steps were done:
1. install with dual-arch (usb) LXDE
2. add repositories (core/nonfree + update
3. system update
4. install task-kde4

package "firefox-de" was not installed automatically

That's not KDE specific.

Also I don't see a way to make this work easily when installing firefox...

Source RPM: task-kde4-4.6.2-1.mga1.noarch => firefox

Excuse me, you are completly right.
I have some bad days and I think it is better to stop testing and writing bugs

FWIW, rpmsrate installs firefox-de when locales-de is installed, so it'd work if you do a non-minimal install, but not when you install task-foo or firefox post-install :)

Status: NEW => RESOLVED
Resolution: (none) => INVALID

Ok, dual-arch has no firefox-de and so an update can't get it automatically.
