For syncronize and backup my stuff, I use Freefilesync, that load and start successfully. But when I try to compare the directories to sync, it says that it is not possible to find the directories. FreeFileSync sees the directory, because it is possible to navigate between and choose them. But it just cannot handle them. In oter Linux ditribution (such as Ubuntu I was using before) there is no problem.
I installed freefilesync to test it and had the same problem as the reporter.

Exactly also the same problem as the reporter (but FFS working perfectly on Linux Mint). By the way, the version proposed by Mageia is soooooo old (5.10), when FreeFileSync is now on 5.23 !!! (http://www.fosshub.com/FreeFileSync.html) Perhaps that's the cause...

The problem es that until a decision is made regarding the backports repo, we can't update FFS to it's latest version on mga 3, and cauldron has been in version freeze for months now so we can't update it either for mga 4. So to be able to fix this we need an upstream bug report or a revision control commit from were create a patch to fix this bug.
Closing as old. And mga5b2+ cauldron FreeFileSync works for me.
