Description of problem: I tried to add a HP officejet printer with system-config-printer. The printer is correctly detected in the dialog (network printer). I choose "HP linux Imaging and printing (HPLIP)" in the section called "Connexion" and I click on next button. The application freeze. I have manually installed "task-printing-scanning" and my problem is resolved.

I was having similar problems with an HP Deskjet All-in-One, but having read the above comments I tried manually installing task-printing-scanning and it worked for me as well. My installation was from a 64-bit live KDE DVD.
