Description D M 2013-10-23 11:39:28 CEST
Description of problem:
I tried to add a HP officejet printer with system-config-printer. The printer is correctly detected in the dialog (network printer). I choose "HP linux Imaging and printing (HPLIP)" in the section called "Connexion" and I click on next button. The application freeze.

If i launch in console, i have theses messages :

Comment 2 Carolyn Rowse 2013-11-22 12:13:04 CET
I was having similar problems with an HP Deskjet All-in-One, but having read the above comments I tried manually installing task-printing-scanning and it worked for me as well. My installation was from a 64-bit live KDE DVD.
