Description of problem: Start to boot from the installation disk and in the first screen press F1 (Help). In this is described that the menu has an option "Firmware tests". However the menu itself does not have "firmware tests". So either the disk is incomplete or the help screen should be fixed. Reproducible: Steps to Reproduce:
Valid for alpha 2
Source RPM: mageia-dvd-1-x86_64.iso => mageia-dvd-Alpha2-x86_64.iso
Priority: Normal => LowSeverity: normal => minor
Valid for Beta 2. But now I am wondering if the "firmware tests" in the help are really supposed to refer to 'Hardware detection tool' in the first visible screen in installation? If so, then it should be called *that* in the help and not by any other name!
Component: Installer => RPM PackagesSource RPM: mageia-dvd-Alpha2-x86_64.iso => mageia-gfxboot-theme
Ok, I could reproduce, using the dual-arch CD : help is not consistent. If you highlight most menu entries you get a contextual help, but if you highlight "Hardware detection tool" you get a generic outdated help mentioning lots of non-existent options. I think I prefer the generic comprehensive help to the contextual help, because the generic one gives the signification of all Fx keys in one place.
