4alpha3 Classic DVD 32 with default LXDE installation

MCC launcher in the taskbar appears to do nothing.

Possibly related to policykit? (bug 11158)

Check ~/.xsession-errors. Does it mention "Refusing to render service to dead parents."?

If yes, then it's the "double forking" problem [1], which can be workarounded by adding 'StartupNotify=true' to the .desktop file. Xfce is currently suffering this bug also. (It's already fixed in GNOME and MATE).

Ack, sorry, I've installed over it now. I'll try with the 64 bit DVD I just installed though.

Same problem with 64bit. There is nothing in .xsession-errors, just 4 lines total to do with starting the session and log path. 

Nothing is added to .xsession-errors or the journal when trying to start MCC from the launchers
