Description Philippe Leblanc 2013-09-18 19:21:30 CEST
Description of problem:
I just noticed that the broadcom wl driver is quite outdated. Looks like Mageia 3 is using version 5.100.82.112 which hasn't been updated since Mageia 1. Since I'm not a packager, I'm not sure if there are technical or legal difficulties in packaging newer versions of this driver, but I just wanted to point out a new version of the driver was released last week at version 6.30.223.141. This might fix some bugs, improve performance and add support for newer devices.

Here's the URL to retrieve the new driver: http://www.broadcom.com/support/802.11/linux_sta.php
