Description of problem: The atieventsd daemon die when we log out of an X session. This has been tested with the standard KDE install. It does appear to be upstream tough since it appears also in Archlinux with xdm and icewm Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): x11-driver-video-fglrx-12.104-3.mga3.nonfree How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Boot and log in in a graphical session, all is normal 2. Log out 3. Re login 4. no atievensd anymore (and journalctl says it has died) Suggested workaround: I have work around it by converting the service to a systemd service (it was still a sysv service) and by using the restart feature of systemd. See the url. Reproducible: Steps to Reproduce:
