Description of problem:
In KDE the mouse scroll wheel fails to scroll text in notes.
In real cauldron and also in vm

In gnome3 this works (in vm)

In earlier gnote in Mageia 3 this also works under KDE.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install gnote in KDE
2. Create a note longer than a full page
3. Attempt to scroll down the page using scroll wheel.

same with another gtk theme ?

Not sure what you mean by "another gtk theme"
Set up where? 
I have default for everything in my VMs 

The only mention of gtk in KDE that I can find is in
systemsettings > application appearance > style > applications > widget style > gtk+ style
... and this has no effect on this issue. It does however break Mozilla applications (FF and TB) by making the tooltips render as black text on a black background.

No, I checked in both and it seems the Mageia fairy fixed it :)
