Description of problem: Having always used tcshrc since my UNIX days at work I continue to use it in Linux but have to remember to install xfig I think it is to ensure that tcsh goes into the package selection. Otherwise using it involves logging in after install, urpmi tcsh, change shell, log out and log in again. Apologies for the misspelling. Meant to say tcsh.
then your bug is invalid, it should be already in the manual choice
For Cauldron / Mageia 4 you mean. That is good. As I said, it has not been in previous releases. You had to know what application to specify to have it pulled in and therefore available in the manual choice. I cannot remember if it was listed under available packages.
well according to the rpmsrate (the file which contain what can be installed from the gui install) from mandriva 2009.0 it was already present at least it this step: http://doc.mageia.org/installer/3/en/content/choosePackagesTree.html (but indeed it could be very hidden)
