Description of problem: Version 1.6 is already available as a package but that version has several bugs which have since been corrected. The prog is the best available, as far as I have been able to determine, for the purpose for which it's designed and I've been using it for well over a year in live performance set-ups. I've found it to exceed performance specs of its ridiculously expensive proprietary counterparts from Vox and Roland. To say I'd be lost without it is like saying I couldn't do without all that oxygen in the atmosphere. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): The latest vsn is 1.7.0 Reproducible: Steps to Reproduce:
Sooperlooper requires old libsigc++1.2, but we have newer libsigc++2.0. I don't know if we should introduce the old libsigc++1.2 only for this pkg. So IMHO this is a no go until sooperlooper is ported to the new libsigc++2.0. However this is only my opinion and if someone decides to start maintain also the old libsigc++1.2 and imports it, it's fine for me.
