Hi Buchan, I e-mailed you before about attempting to update openldap to 2.4.36. I'm attaching all the files I modified in my attempt to update it, including some rediffed patches and the modified spec file. I even separated out the test sections of your slapd-modules Makefiles into a new patch. Currently with all of this, the build dies in one of the slapd-modules, complaining about a path issue. I'll attach the build log too. Reproducible: Steps to Reproduce:
Created attachment 4286 [details] updated patches and spec file
Created attachment 4287 [details] build log
Attachment 4287 mime type: application/octet-stream => text/plain
If you ever get around to looking at this, the spec file I included is missing this fix just added by Funda, so be careful not to revert it :o) http://svnweb.mageia.org/packages/cauldron/openldap/current/SPECS/openldap.spec?r1=472082&r2=472766
I have much more substantial changes in my own checkout(s), that actually make it possible to use some of the new features since 2.4.33. Just updating isn't always enough. I plan to commit in the next few days.
Just a reminder that the version freeze is on October 15th. Any chance you can get the 2.4.36 update polished off and committed?
2.4.38 is in svn and cauldron core/updates_testing, with all the required enhancements.
