news?
yes, the world is in a bad way
I don't anticipate backports opening soon, but you can download the source RPM or check out frm SVN amarok from Cauldron and it builds just fine on Mageia 3, so it's easy to make your own local backport of this. Speaking of backports, it will never really happen if we don't have more QA testers. We barely have enough to keep up with regular updates as it is. If you really want backports in the future, please consider joining the QA team (subscribe to the qa-discuss mailing list and send a message introducing yourself if you're interested).
in reply to comment #2 i heard about it, hope that will not become the third world war... keep me informed, please :D in reply to comment #3 i'm already following QA ml but i don't have enough time to be actively involved. i know the problems of QA team, in fact in the bug report i proposed myself as a tester. i can't do my own build for the same reason of time lack. please, let me know cheers Marcello
Mageia 3 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status 4 months ago. http://blog.mageia.org/en/2014/11/26/lets-say-goodbye-to-mageia-3/ Mageia 3 is no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further security or bug fix updates. As a result we are closing this bug. If you can reproduce this bug against a currently maintained version of Mageia please feel free to click on "Version" change it against that version of Mageia and reopen this bug. Thank you for reporting this bug and we are sorry it could not be fixed. -- The Mageia Bugsquad
